This is an interesting perspective on the Gluten Free trend. What I believe is that you avoid any food that has a health claim attached to it and has been processed or "enhanced". A balanced diet of protein, carbohydrates, fats, minerals, water, and vitamins is essential. Consumption of calories and exercise must be considered when looking to lose weight. T.L.
